South Texas Birding Safari June 6-10 2012
A bird photographer's dream trip to ranches in South Texas to photograph Olive Sparrows, Painted Buntings, Kiskadees, Golden-fronted woodpeckers, Curve-billed thrashers, Yellow-billed cuckoos, Caracaras, Green jays, and so many more!
Guides will lead us to blinds, ponds and feeders at both Campos Viejos and Dos Venadas Ranches for a morning shoot, then a siesta and later an afternoon shoot. Our siestas, meals and lodging will be at an air-conditioned ranch house. (see the October 2011 issue of BirdWatching magazine for information about the ranches' bird population)
INCLUDED:
- Four days of shooting with guides
- 5 nights lodging (arrive on Wed June 6 and leave Mon June 11)
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and Happy Hour
- Transportation from the McAllen TX Airport to the ranch house and back
- Transportation each day to the shooting sites
